Rising trap-metal artist, Ghostemane, just released their latest music video for “Hydrochloride.” Directed by fellow singer/songwriter, Poppy, the power duo shared dark and powerful visuals created mid-pandemic.
Shot in Prague, the video features dancers dressed as nurses in plague masks, chains, and a striking performance by the musician as they scream into the abyss and hit the stage in a worn-down, low-lit old building.
“Hydrochloride,” discusses the allure of opiates and the challenges the musician faced in shame and the slew of problems that follows addiction. His latest album, Anti-Icon, breaks down the most turbulent time in his life; and the cathartic process in creating the tracks share the growth out of the darkness.
He discusses his story in further detail in an interview with Kerrang! Check it out here!
