Here are our daily picks for you featuring Travis Japan, Helang, Homixide Gang and more!

1. “think about it” – Avery Lynch

Pennsylvania-born, LA-based singer-songwriter Avery Lynch sheds an intimate and emotionally-charged light on heartbreak in her debut self-produced release, “think about it.” Inspired by her sister’s breakup, the song exemplifies Lynch’s ability to intertwine melancholy piano melodies with dreamy, expressive vocals. “The song is ultimately about being left to piece things together after a breakup by yourself—having all of the realizations and none of the answers, and there being nothing to do about it,” Lynch shares.

2. “Free Agents” – Homixide Gang

Switching genre gears is “Free Agents,” the latest rap anthem by Atlanta, Georgia-based hip hop duo Homixide Gang. Featuring trap-heavy rhythms, fluid spoken rap and pulsating synth drops, the track bleeds an undeniable confidence. The accompanying music video complements the song’s energetic, hustler lyricism with clips of Homixide Meechie and Homixide Beno living lavish. Looking ahead, eager fans should keep their eyes open for the release of Homixide Lifestyle 2, the sequel album to Homixide Lifestyle (2022).

3. “Tokyo Crazy Night” – Travis Japan

J-pop boy band Travis Japan is back and better than ever with their latest single, “Tokyo Crazy Night.” Featured as the theme song for J-drama “Tokyo Camouflage Hour,” the track’s retro instrumentals and upbeat vocals amplify their signature city-pop style. The accompanying music video further showcases their intensity with clean, dynamic choreography and monochrome outfits. If this song gets your heart pumping and head nodding, check out their dual single release, “Say I do.”

4. “Flashback” – Helang

Chinese-American producer Helang has unleashed “Flashback,” an infectious, synth-driven house hit. Composed of groovy basslines, relentless hi-hats and contagious vocal hooks, this techno track is sure to bring life to the dance floor. “Flashback” also acts as the title track for Helang’s latest EP, a 3-track collection of songs that showcase her unique texture-warping skills. “I’ve found a great balance between euphoria and melancholy which is demonstrated in the vocals and synths,” she shares, on the new EP. “To me this is the beauty of music- to feel the feels: the good and the bad. It all goes back around to just expressing oneself in the most genuine and authentic way.”

5. “Together As One (ft. Luke Coulson)” – Lauren Mia

Last up on today’s line-up is Lauren Mia‘s latest release, “Together As One (ft. Luke Coulson),” a melodic soundscape of electronic beats and kaleidoscopic synths. Combined with Coulson’s dreamy, evocative vocals, the song’s uplifting instrumentals make it the perfect soundtrack for a late night highway drive. It cements Mia’s status as an influential techno producer in the growing electronic landscape.

As this year’s Women’s History Month comes to a close, check out these five new hits spanning everything from rap, J-pop, EDM and more. Give them a listen today!
