4. “Skylight” – Cornelia Murr

Dreamy and introspective, “Skylight” by London-born, NY-based musician Cornelia Murr captures the fleeting reality of genuine human connection. “‘Skylight’ is about waking up out of the doldrums thanks to chance encounters that remind you life can change and look so many different ways, as if looking through windows into other timelines,” she explains. 5. “Love Is Like That” – Nona Invie

Closing out today’s selection is Nona Invie‘s “Love Is Like That,” a sincere and profound track that sheds light on the beauty of friendship. Minimalistic instrumentation allows the Minneapolis-native’s ethereal vocals to shine, creating an evocative atmosphere of subtle piano chords and sonic synths. “This song is a meditation on a certain kind of unconditional love one can express in a friendship,” Nona Invie shares. “Taking on all the joy but also the pain of another.”
