1. “514-415” – Bells Larsen

“514-415,” the heartfelt folk single by Montreal-based songwriter Bells Larsen, captures the bittersweet reality of long-distance love despite lingering feelings that it might not last. With lyrics like, “514-415, you’re the right person, wrong time / Now and then I still like to play pretend,” the song evokes a deep sense of nostalgia and hope. Fans can look forward to Larsen’s forthcoming album, Blurred Time, set for release on April 25, 2025. The announcement comes alongside his anticipated North American tour. Find ticket details here!

2 “Bleached” – Fust

Blending laid-back instrumentals with introspective lyricism, country rock band Fust share their newest single, “Bleached.” “It’s about being young, feeling like livestock while being driven around,” shares singer Aaron Dowdy, “not thinking, zoning out and feeling drained, disconnected, with friends appearing and disappearing, small experiences that train you to feel your difference like your friend’s hair getting blonde in the sun when yours doesn’t. And it’s about surviving youth, though not without some costs.” With twangy fiddle lines, soft percussion hits and intimate vocals, “Bleached” can be found on Fust’s upcoming album, Big Ugly, out March 7, 2025 via Dear Life Records.

3. “Manor (Do You Love Me Yet)” – Jake Troth

Alternative indie artist Jake Troth has unveiled his latest single, “Manor (Do You Love Me Yet),” a mesmerizing soundscape of intimacy and reassurance. “When you’re by my side it feels like home to me / You ‘re the only one I need,” Troth sings, his voice amplified by lush piano chords, reverb-soaked guitar lines and soft snare hits.
