Here are our daily picks for you featuring Carin León, Manuel Carrasco, Smallpools, Dashboard Confessional and more!

1. “SHE’S THE WHOLE WORLD” – sunsetto

Toronto-based singer-songwriter sunsetto sheds light on the beauty of his lover through his newest single, “SHE’S THE WHOLE WORLD.” Weaving intimacy between lines of acoustic guitar and stripped down vocals, the track’s vivid lyricism paints a picture of “Rocky Mountain sunsets” and “starlit Arizona skies.” “I wanted to express how love can be as vast and powerful as nature itself,” sunsetto says. “It’s raw, it’s honest, and it’s the most vulnerable I’ve ever been in my music.” The single can be found on his latest 11-track album, THE SUN, THE MOON & THE BIG MACHINE, which explores themes of love, heartache and self-discovery.

2. “No Me Llores” – Carin León, Manuel Carrasco

Up next is “No Me Llores,” an emotion-laden, heartbreaking single by Spanish artists Carin León and Manuel Carrasco. Although the lyricism paints a picture of those inevitable frustrations that come with losing a lover, there are hints of self-reflection and resilience. The collaborative track, whose title directly translates to “Don’t Cry for Me,” combines the passion and intensity of León and Carrasco’s vocals with intricate layers of acoustic guitar. “Carin breathes music and expresses it in a very personal way,” says Carrasco. “Collaborating with him and sharing our worlds and love for our roots has been truly inspiring.”

3. “Swayze” – Smallpools

Los Angeles-based indie pop trio Smallpools dropped their latest hit, “Swayze.” With ascending synths and infectious electric guitar riffs, the new track brings an infectious energy despite deeper themes of leaving the past behind. “I kinda feel like I’m crazy / ‘Cause life moves fast, but I’m still stuck in a daydream,” sings lead vocalist Sean Scanlon. Garnering over 300,000 Spotify streams, “Swayze” also acts as the opening song for Smallpools’ newest album, Ghost Town Road. The 10-track collection focuses on the temptation of nostalgia despite the desire to live in the present moment.

4. “Watch the Fire” – Dashboard Confessional, BOYS LIKE GIRLS

“WATCH THE FIRE” by rock sensations Dashboard Confessional and BOYS LIKE GIRLS is a riveting single about healing from the past. The track opens with a captivating orchestra before diving into a unique pop-rock blend of driving drums and soaring vocals. “And I only kept the book / To set fire to the pages / Now I’m burning down the story of my life / Just to watch the fire,” sings Chris Carrabba, Dashboard Confessional’s lead singer and guitarist, and Martin Johnson, BOYS LIKE GIRLS’ frontman.

“Martin and I had bonded over some horrific accidents we’d had and about the recoveries that we had both worked our way through,” says Carrabba. “One of the things you carry heavily when your body is laid up and your spirit is heavy is, inevitably, the past. One thing Martin and I share between us was a desire to put the past down for a while. Maybe for good. I hope so. I guess I do know one sure way of putting the past down, for a little while anyway: pick up a guitar. Reckoning with your past can be painful and ugly. It can also be rejuvenative and beautiful. I don’t know whether you get to decide. I just know that it’s worth it.”

5. “Next Up” – Jon Casey, Wreckno

South African producer Jon Casey teamed up with Michigan-based rapper, producer and DJ Wreckno to produce their newest single, “Next Up.” The funky track fuses layers of ominous synths with hypnotic lyrics like “I ain’t at the top, but you know I put my best in” that spit sheer confidence and energy. Pulsating beats create an immersive feel, holding listeners captive on the dance floor. “This track with Jon Casey is one of my absolute favorites that I’ve worked on this year!” says Wreckno. “The verses come so naturally; it’s such a hype trap bass banger! I wanted to make a track about being next up and nobody being able to stop it. I absolutely love the final product.”
