1. “Fall Apart” – RayRay, Softest Hard

Taiwanese artist RayRay and North Carolina-born musician Softest Hard have released their debut collaborative single, “Fall Apart.” The new track features entrancing vocals set atop riveting electronic beats that drive the piece forward. With lyricism like, “People come and go / I’m used to it by now / Every time we get close / It just doesn’t end well,” the release seeks to showcase the darker sides of failing relationships. Despite this, bright synths bring an air of resilience to the piece, reflecting the vibrant backdrops found in the track’s official music video. On the new song, RayRay says, “While creating this song, I was inspired to combine uplifting melodies and rhythms to craft a song about heartbreaksomething I feel I’m quite good at.”

2. “Backroom” – Riggi & Piros

“Backroom” by New Jersey-based electronic dance duo Riggi & Piros evokes a sense of cryptic energy. With ominous vocals inviting listeners to “move a little closer to the backroom,” the track is coated with ominous synths and pulsing rim-shots. “Backroom” is the eponymous title for Riggi & Piros’ newest EP, which intertwines some past releases with some newfound electronic finesse. “This EP is crafted for the dance floor, designed to bring intense, dark energy to our live sets,” says Riggi & Piros. “Each track is built to electrify and elevate the crowd, making it a perfect addition to any high-energy performance.”

3. “Forever (feat. Malou & Yuna)” – HUGEL, Diplo

They say that a person’s first love never truly leaves their mind. “Forever (feat. Malou & Yuna)” by multi-gold and platinum-selling HUGEL and GRAMMY winner Diplo takes this concept to new heights. Building upon a tapestry of driving afro house beats, rolling tribal drums and mesmerizing vocals, the dance-infused track seeks to mimic the bliss of infatuation. Malou and Yuna, two LA-based singer-songwriters, are also featured on this collaborative sensation. Check out this contagious track on the dance floor or through any of these streaming platforms.

4. “Art-O-Fact (Detroit Remix)” – Junior Sanchez, Carl Craig

Up next is “Art-O-Fact (Detroit Remix)” by techno-dance icons Junior Sanchez and Carl Craig. Capping at 8 minutes and 56 seconds, the collaborative track is composed of groovy synths that beg for motion on the dance floor. Expressive synths weave in and out of driving percussive hits to create a creative, diverse club sensation. “Art-O-Fact (Detroit Remix)” is one of three new mixes from Sanchez and Craig, including a “Beatless” and “Bass” mix, with one more melody-focused and the other rhythm-based. On the new release, Sanchez says, “I let my inspiration guide me, and I thought about that city—what it meant to me and what techno meant to my heart”

5. “Fly Move (The Whole Time)” – Hot Mulligan

Michigan-based emo band Hot Mulligan has released their latest song, “Fly Move (The Whole Time).” Ranked as the #1 Hot New Band, the group fuses intense vocals with infectious instrumentals to create a deeply intrapersonal anthem about facing inner conflict. Angst-driven energy forms the backbone of the track, with shifts between chaos and quiet reflection. “I’ve been toeing the line between antisocial and agoraphobia,” says vocalist Tades Sanville, when explaining the song’s lyricism. “I’ve spent the better part of a year being as insulated and still as possible. When I’m home alone and all I have to do is not die, that’s more or less all I do.” “Fly Move (The Whole Time)” was released alongside “End Eric Sparrow and the Life of Him” and “Stickers of Brian” on Hot Mulligan’s new “Warmer Weather” EP.
