Here are our daily picks for you featuring Justin Webb & The Noise, Less Than Jake, and more!

1. “Gas Pedal” feat. Sage the Gemini – John Summit, Subtronics, & Tape B

“Gas Pedal” feat. Sage the Gemini brings a unique fusion of John Summit, Subtronics, and Tape B’s individual hip-hop talents to the forefront of today’s night life. Released August 30, 2024, the intensity of the synths and repetitive “gas pedal” vocal motif culminate in a sure-to-be club anthem. The subtle car engines can transport any listener to the heart of a racing game lobby. Keep your eyes open as these multi-genre artists continue making waves in the electronic music scene.

2. “Desperate Man” – Justin Webb & The Noise

Beginning with an electrifying guitar riff, “Desperate Man” by Justin Webb & The Noise is sure to get listeners’ hearts racing and feet tapping. Webb’s raw vocals singing, “I’m a desperate man / Love me, love me, love me” bring the heart of rock ‘n’ roll back to the main stage. This single also acts as the opener for the band’s eight-track debut album, Stupid Young, released Oct. 4, 2024. Justin Webb & The Noise will be performing a hometown release show on Oct. 10 at The Basement in Nashville. Purchase tickets here.

3. “House Party” / “Can’t Stop” – Quality G

Driving synths, pulsating basslines, and unrelenting beat drops make Quality G’s “House Party” and “Can’t Stop” staples in this fall’s dance floor setlist. Quality G states, “Together, these tracks embody the euphoric spirit of a night where the music never stops, and the party keeps going.” With accompanying vocal loops (“Ain’t no party like a house party / ‘Cause a house party don’t stop”) and undeniable tech house beats, both tracks are sure to keep the adrenaline running.

4. “Driver” – Soccer Mommy

Our next song, “Driver” by Soccer Mommy, is a tribute to the people who love us despite all our flaws. Nashville singer-songwriter Sophie Allison, the face behind “Soccer Mommy”, sings “My head is always in the clouds / I’ll be the driver if you choose.” The rock-esque instrumentals intertwined with Allison’s vocals make a beautiful love song. Soccer Mommy will be going on a four-month tour across North America, UK, and Europe in support of her newest album, Evergreen. Get your tickets here today!

5. “Brand New Day” – Less Than Jake

The closer for today’s selection is “Brand New Day,” an upbeat, bright piece by Less Than Jake. The track features energetic brass instrumentals and heavy ska punk influences. On describing the adrenaline-rushing single, drummer Matt Yonker said, “Looking back, it always feels like things were less hectic ‘back in the day’, right? Sometimes it feels like we need a positive catalyst to kick start a less stressful life experience; something that will bring us all closer together, and spread the unity we all felt when we were kids.” With so much inspiration in the air, give this song a listen and feel your day instantly brighten!
