1. “GO” – EST Gee

“GO” by Louisville, Kentucky-based hip-hop artist EST Gee is an intense two minute single out today via CMG / Interscope Records. The release is layered with crisp hi-hat trap beats, ominous synth melodies and fluid rap that drives the story forward. The lyrics themselves delve into the reality of street life in Louisville with a glimpse of resilience. “GO” has garnered over 800,000 Spotify plays and 2.2 million YouTube streams. Keep your eyes out for this up-and-rising rapper today!

2. “Jwett” – Skilla Baby

Up next is “Jwett,” an assertive new track by Detroit rapper Skilla Baby. Found on his latest album, Crack Music 3, the release weaves spoken word with heavy basslines and infectious synths. “Jwett” bleeds confidence with lyrics that reflect on Skilla Baby’s rise to fame, which includes a number of new tracks, collaborations with renowned artists and successful hometown performances.

3. “TOXIC” – MEOVV

K-pop group MEOVV have released “TOXIC,” an intimate new single highlighting the reality of not being ablet to pull oneself away from a toxic relationship. “Together, we’re so toxic / But your love is something I can’t lose / They don’t know you like I do,” the band sings. Musically, “TOXIC” features minimalistic instrumentals, with a light rhythm that showcases all five members’ unique vocals. Check this piece out, alongside the dual release, “BODY.”

4. “Hold You Again” – Will Swinton

New Zealand singer-songwriter Will Swinton has come out with his latest introspective single, “Hold You Again.” The heartfelt single, out via 10K Projects / Capitol Records, highlights the intimate desire for a second chance with a past lover. “But I still gotta try / ‘Cause right now more than ever, I just wanna be forever in your eyes,” Swinton’s resonant vocals sing. These lyrics lay atop accompanying acoustic and electric instruments that evoke a mellow sort of atmosphere. Swinton has just wrapped up a U.S. tour in support of BabyJake’s Beautiful Blue Collar Boy Tour. Stay on the lookout for new releases from this alt-pop artist.

5. “Every Little Ladder” – The Ivy

Tulsa-based duo The Ivy have shared their their latest indie-pop hit, “Every Little Ladder.” The song brings a cohesive blend of nostalgia and modernity with its use of dreamy synth-pop, lo-fi textures and R&B-esque grooves. “‘Every Little Ladder’ is an anthem of chasing a bigger life while capturing themes of growing up in a quaint, humble environment where everyone’s lives seem to mirror each other in familiar, unchanging ways,” The Ivy explains.
