Here are our daily picks for you featuring Elyanna, Duran Duran, MAGNUM and more!

1. “Yabn El Eh” – Elyanna

Palestinian-Chilean singer-songwriter Elyanna has unleashed her latest passion-infused banger, “Yabn El Eh.” Known for weaving layers of Arabic instruments with R&B, EDM and jazz elements, the 22-year-old captures the chaos of modern love through its use of Arabic percussion and ambient synths. The official music video finds Elyanna adorned in cultural wear, like henna and Arabic coins. She will continue her WOLEDO Tour across countries like Spain, France, Sweden and the UK. Tickets can be found here.

2. “Young Lion” – Sade Adu

Nigerian-British singer Sade Adu shares “Young Lion,” an intimate, heartwarming song dedicated to her son, Izaak, a trans man. “Feel the light / Shine like a sun / Young gun, see how far you’ve come,” Adu sings, her soaring vocals rising above emotional piano lines. “Young Lion” is part of TRAИƧA, a 46-song concept album by activist and music production non-profit Red Hot. Initially begun back in 2021, the project features the talents of many trans and non-binary artists. Take a listen to “Young Lion” and the other tracks on TRAИƧA today!

3. “EVIL WOMAN” – Duran Duran

Up next is a live performance video of Duran Duran‘s cover of ELO’s “EVIL WOMAN.” The video was filmed at an All Hallows’ Eve ball in New York City’s Madison Square Garden, complete with vibrant lights, intense face paint and flashy outfits. Infectious electric guitar lines, rock-esque drums and resonant vocals contribute to the performance’s invigorating energy. On the concert itself, founding member and keyboarding Nick Rhodes said, “In times where we are never quite sure what is real and what is not, it felt great to return to the pulsing heart of Duran Duran, live in front of an audience.”

4. “Real Life” – Old Sea Brigade

American songwriter and producer Old Sea Brigade releases his latest tender, thought-provoking single, “Real Life.” Intertwined with delicate acoustic guitar and raw vocals, the song delves into the unexpected nature of everyday life. It can be found on Old Sea Brigade’s most recent six-song EP, If Only I Knew (Pt. 1). “With these songs and recordings, I tried to capture little time capsules I can hopefully come back to one day and remember a fraction of how I felt during this time,” he explains. Check out “Real Life” today.

5. “Days Of No Trust (Live)” – MAGNUM

Closing out our selection today is a live version of MAGNUM‘s “Days Of No Trust.” The track is full of electric guitars, driving percussion hits and gritty vocals. Energetic till the very end, the song’s performance at KK’s Steel Mill pays homage to the band’s late guitarist and songwriter Tony Clarkin. The release of MAGNUM’s latest, Live at KK’s Steel Mill, solidifies the concert’s infectious nature while also preserving Clarkin’s admirable legacy. Looking towards the rest of January, MAGNUM will be performing at a few exclusive shows in the UK as part of a “Tribute to Tony” series. Find tickets here!

From introspective singles about life to songs honoring personal culture, these five diverse songs are worth the listen. You won’t want to miss out!
