Here are our daily picks for you featuring Paleface Swiss, Eric Clapton, Suburban Eyes and more!

1. “Love Burns” – Paleface Swiss

Switzerland-based deathcore band Paleface Swiss bring their infamous grit and energy with the release of their latest single, “Love Burns.” Jam-packed with aggressive guitar riffs, chaotic drumming and raw, guttural screams, the track’s lyricism reflects on the intense suffering found in bad relationships. “Love Burns” can be found on Paleface Swiss’s third album, CURSED, which also holds the previously released singles “Hatred” and “My Blood On Your Hands.” Starting Jan. 30, 2025, the band will embark on a European headline tour. Tickets are limited, so check them out here today!

2. “The Call” – Eric Clapton

Completely switching gears is “The Call” by UK-based musician, singer, songwriter and record producer Eric Clapton. Infused with memories of the past, this nostalgic single features blues-esque instrumentals such as melodic guitar, intimate piano and subtle bass. “Set me to thinking / About those bad good old days / Corners we cut / And all the halls we played,” Clapton’s resonant vocals sing. Looking ahead, the English musician will travel to Japan in April 2025 before returning to London’s Royal Albert Hall in May. Tickets can be found here.

3. “Birna” – Wardruna

Norwegian band Wardruna shed light on the intricate relationship between humans and bears in their latest single, “Birna.” The term “birna” itself means “she-bear” or “female bear” in Old Norse. Using traditional Norse instruments and evocative vocals, the song is wrapped in a meditative sort of composition, allowing listeners to fully embrace their connection with nature and the wilderness. “Birna” is the titular track for Wardruna’s forthcoming album, Birna, set to be released Jan. 24, 2025.

4. “Staircase Stomp” – The Clamor

Brooklyn-based post-punk artist The Clamor continues to experiment with unique concepts and sounds in his latest project, “Staircase Stomp.” While the song’s lyricism dives into themes of self-destruction and rebellion, it also encourages listeners to confront these thoughts instead of pushing them aside. Aaron Louis, the Director of Audio Visual at The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) and the face behind The Clamor, explains the vision behind the track’s stop-motion music video: “With the animator’s haunting visuals, and lyrics that delve into psychological tension, the video blurs the lines between external chaos and internal struggles, offering what I hope is a meaningful reflection on the complexity of self-awareness.”

5. “4AM” – Suburban Eyes

Closing out our curated selection for today is “4AM” by indie rock trio Suburban Eyes. Layered with laid-back guitar lines, steady drums and soaring vocals, the track is tinged with the nostalgia of childhood. It comes off of their eponymous album, Suburban Eyes, a 9-track collection of songs released back in August 2024. On the official music video for “4AM,” Suburban Eyes’ member John Anderson explains, “The audience is given a glimpse into a day in the life of three cousins exploring their unrestricted freedom on a sunny summer day. The memories and relationships of youth can stay with us forever and have a lasting impact on our perspectives as we struggle to navigate adulthood in the modern age.”

You won’t want to miss these five riveting new tracks! Check them out today.
