Denver’s dance music scene is about to get a bit darker this month. Dark Palace, a live music and art event hosted by creative kingpins Meow Wolf, is slated to take over Denver’s National Western Complex from November 22-24.
For those unfamiliar, Meow Wolf is an immersive arts company out of Santa Fe, New Mexico with permanent installations in Santa Fe and soon to be Las Vegas (2020) and Denver (2021). Combining elements of psychedelia and futurism with play-house structures and inventive live-music setups, Meow Wolf pushes the boundaries of what it means to be an “art exhibit” or a “music venue”. Originally created through a group of youthful art enthusiasts in New Mexico, Meow Wolf has grown into an empire of weirdness- attracting musicians and art fans from across the globe.

With Dark Palace, Meow Wolf brings it’s signature brand of trippy sights and sounds to its future home in Denver. Offering up an eclectic lineup of electronic artists, the weekend is packed with notables from Dirty Bird Records boss Claude VonStroke to hometown favorites Late Night Radio and Dirt Monkey. The National Western Complex will also be dressed in it’s best, as collaborative artists such as Jon Medina, Matt Barton, and others have been invited along to make the weekend a visual spectacle that is sure to be talked about for years to come.
You can purchase tickets for the event HERE.
