We’re here with the freshest new tunes right out of the studio! Today we present to you a super exclusive Glasse Factory only premier of your favorite indie-pop songstress Caroline Kingsbury’s feature track “Kissing Someone Else” (Josh Lumsden Remix). The song is a sneak of her newest EP Remixes From Heaven which features newly remixed versions of the key tracks from her 2021 debut album, Heaven’s Just A Flight.
The revamped version includes some fire collabs from Nashville indie-pop girly Arlie’s take on “Massive Escape“, Fortune Tellers’ Peter Matthew Bauer, and the focus dance remix from DJ Josh Lumsden. As a little bonus, we’ll even get two new alternate versions by Queen Caroline herself.
“Kissing Someone Else” is a dance remix on the original hit and serves as the focus track off her brand new remix EP. The song is giving strong Cindy Lauper meets 21st-century techno beats vibes and we’re here for it. It’s that poppy party song to enjoy at the poolside or while getting ready for a night out with the girls. Because it’s hot girl summer and as Caroline says “we’re moving on” from the toxic trash of the past year.
Earlier this year, Caroline shared her brand new single “Strawberry Sheets,” produced by herself and Math Bishop. “The song is a beautiful sonic world I created to retreat to during these difficult times. I needed something repetitive and beautiful to get lost in,” said Caroline on the track. A song that is just as sweet and captivating as the viral strawberry dress that held us in a chokehold throughout the pandemic. Just imagine dancing in that dress to this song? Truly a dream come true.
