It’s out! We’ve been following along with rising dark pop phenom, FLØRE, since the peak of 2020 and the moment we’ve all been waiting for is here. The Germany-based musician has released her debut album, SCARYTALE, available on all listening platforms.

See the “HAPPY NEVER AFTER” music video:

As the first track on the album, “HAPPY NEVER AFTER” is all the more special as a moment pulls audio recorded by fans, singing along to the ending of the song. It drives the song’s message forth even more, and is known by her social media and Discord audience as “The Fløwer Song.”

The rest of the album holds a similar sentiment, reflecting on a capsule of mini fairytales about different romances, told in the perspective of various “scary” characters. Each song’s title pays an homage to those characters as the lyrics share a romantic moment in FLØRE’s own special twist.

We talked with FLØRE on our YouTube and Twitch on February 21st, and spent some time breaking down the tracks as we played on her fan-made Minecraft server.

Watch the VOD here:

There’s something special about FLØRE and how we’ve connected with her and her fans. It’s not just the intimate and creative music that she makes but the clear kindness she shares with her community, and how much kindness her fans share back. And throughout the interview, we are very lucky to share just a little of that with you.
