Hello Glasse Factory,
It feels good to be back, baby. Feel like a brand new me as of lately. I think it’s because I bought a new loafer that’s giving me pristine exfoliation. But I’m not here to talk about that. I’m here to share episodes of an interview series called *drum roll* Exhibit&Friends. I am Exhibit and I interview a bunch of creatives I call friends; it’s pretty straightforward. The friend I would like to introduce y’all to is the melodic hip hop, lyrical genius MC that goes by the name of Dezmond Dane.
Mix Drake and Isaiah Rashad, and you have the MC known as Dezmond Dane. Not only is this guy a talented lyricist, but he had to have been one of the funniest guys I have interviewed with. I had the chance to sit down with him across the internet and learn more about who it is behind the musician that is releasing four projects this year, and was recently featured on Colors Studio.
Turns out he’s a pretty rad guy. The dude can talk, man, but not in a bad way. Just like his music, Dezmond was able to draw me into his stories pretty easily. Oh, and this man reads his dictionaries – this man definitely reads his dictionaries. Maybe it’s just a known rule in order to be a rapper, but you can definitely tell this dude’s word bank is much larger than average. Above all else, Dezmond Dane showcased knowledge and confidence. His reasons for being in the game, combined with the risks he’s willing to take for it, have me believe that Dezmond Dane will become a name many more people will soon know.
We talked about a lot of good stuff. From Colors Studio to his team, and from influences to the roots of hip hop. You’re gonna know all about Dezmond Dane after this interview and you’re gonna love it. Scroll down just a biiiiiit further to get to the interview! But first let me plug the man himself:

One more thing. I know mans is not an R&B singer. I was talking about his style compared to the rest of rap, but I butchered that. Before y’all clown me for that, enjoy.
