Estella Dawn Delivers All the Feels in New Single, “Didn’t Occur To You”

Released on Jun.16, “Didn’t Occur To You,” by pop artist, Estella Dawn, emerges into the raw feelings of failed love, wrapped in beautiful melodies and captivating instrumentals. Only two minutes and thirty-six seconds long, “Didn’t Occur To You,” continues to brand Dawn as the confident and passionate pop artist that she is.

While the song opens beautifully with slow and soft vocals, Dawn drives into the passion and hurt she feels as she breeches the chorus–capturing the feelings of a single moment and relating to thousands of listeners. The unhurried build up to the track’s chorus draws listeners attention to the powerful songwriting of the hit and centers the listening experience around the reflection of lost love.

Rock Era Magazine raves about Dawn, saying:

“Dawn is not only an insanely talented vocalist, but also a touching lyricist. She knows her way around capturing complicated feelings that are hard to describe and harder to process and putting them into words to create an addictive piece.”

Rock Era Magazine Journalist, Viola Karmy

Though you can compare Dawn to artists such as Maren Morris, Billie Ellish, and more, she continuously stands out from the rest since starting up in 2020.
