Enisa Brings it in New Video for “Blame It On Me”

Brooklyn-based songstress Enisa has shared a new music video for her single “Blame It On Me,” full of color, motion, and youthful sparkle. This release comes on the heels of Enisa’s World Cup tribute song, “Olè” and her breakout tune “Just A Kiss (Muah).” The rising star recently headlined a show at the Music Hall of Williamsburg in New York, bringing several songs from her growing catalog to the stage. The new single is the cherry on top of Enisa’s recent career moves as a project that is near and dear to her heart.

“We all have stresses and things we worry about in our lives on a daily basis… I wrote this song about wanting to break free from all those worries and just let loose for one day! It’s a feeling that I know everyone has once felt & I feel like can relate too! Whatever crazy stuff that happens for this one night, you can just BLAME IT ON ME!”

“Blame It On Me” was made in collaboration with T.I. Jakke and Carmen Reece. In 2022, Enisa released a flurry of singles following the release of her EP, Fake Love. Singles “Zoom” and “Just A Kiss (Muah)” also include official visuals and in-studio performances. Enisa made her television debut by performing “Green Light” on NBC’s American Song Contest and has amassed over 187 million worldwide streams. She has proven herself to be globally loved and recognized, topping charts across the world from Nigeria to Sri Lanka.

The video is full of lighthearted action and smooth movement. Set between solo shots and party shots, Enisa is seen dancing, shooting pool, laughing, and letting go. She navigates the camera well, surrounded by bright colors and style. The song celebrates a carefree outlook on life, and Enisa masterfully connected the aesthetic of the video to the attitude behind the lyrics and jumping beat.

Enisa is a first-generation American, born to Albanian immigrant parents. She has spent her whole life working toward her dream, attending Brooklyn College and building a platform. Enisa continued to diversify her approach, infusing contemporary soul pop with Balkan and Middle Eastern tastes, as well as a touch of European pop inspired by her own Muslim heritage.
