Dynamic Collab from Solardo and Joshwa Brings the Energy

Fans have yet another reason to love both Joshwa and Solardo: When the two came together, it was a match made in heaven for the tech house scene. DJ and producer Joshwa and production duo Solardo released “VIP Business” with Insomniac Records. The hit, released last month, has already earned more than 345,000 streams on Spotify alone, a testament to Joshwa’s and Solardo’s talent.

Clocking in at three minutes flat, this track is bliss for those who are drawn to the subgenre. “VIP Business” incorporates that characteristic house groove, along with synthetic tech energy. This dynamic track exemplifies the tech house genre, and listeners cannot get enough. From the start, Solardo and Joshwa introduce vocal elements, seemingly spelling out “VIP” with heavy distortion. The electronic noise emphasizes the strong electronic beat, along with a techno kick and bassline. It brings vivacity and strong spirits, perfect to set the tone for a night out with friends or even a killer workout.

Joshwa shines as a DJ and producer in the underground dance scene. Across an array of labels and imprints, the London-based artist has a reputation for curating good vibes and immaculate quality by releasing songs such as “My Humps,” “Magalenha,” and “Papi.”

From Manchester, Solardo (made of Mark Richards and James Eliot) knows how to bring the energy. They have even launched their own imprint called Sola and crafted a radio show named “The Spot.” With hits like “Move Your Body,” “I Can’t Wait,” and “XTC” all attracting more than ten million listens on Spotify, it’s clear Solardo has a solid fanbase anxiously awaiting more releases.

Though both Joshwa and Solardo come from the United Kingdom, even American fans have the chance to see them take the stage live in The States. Joshwa has performances in July in both the U.S. and across Europe, available here, and Solardo will also be performing in multiple countries this summer — including at Lollapalooza — available here

Connect with Joshwa on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok, along with Solardo on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, too. Check out Insomniac Records’ SoundCloud and Instagram while you’re at it.
