Back in 2018, Alkaline Trio toured the US in support of their latest effort Is This Thing Cursed? and did so with drummer Jarrod Alexander (fill-in drummer for bands such as My Chemical Romance) filling in for full-time drum man Derek Grant.
Grant was unexpectedly relieved from the tour due to unexplained health reasons, rumored to be involving mental health.
Alkaline Trio made a small post on Instagram today stating that the drummer is back in what appears to be good health, thankfully.
Alkaline Trio are rumored to be preparing some new music that will hopefully be released soon since they will be touring the US this spring along with War On Women, and Bad Religion: Check for tour dates near you
Fans just like me are glad to see the Trio back in action! Welcome back Derek!
