Bouncing back from 2020 with a very similar phase 1 lineup, Dancefestopia Music Festival recently finalized their Friday headliner, which is none other than funky electro-soul sax man, GRiZ. Located just an hour south of Kansas City, Dancefestopia draws in thousands of people from all over the country for an end-of-summer camping festival. Borda Productions books heavier on bass acts for this festival, but includes enough variety in the mix with artists like Lane 8, Jai Wolf, J. Worra, and more chilled out house acts.
The festival will take place this year from September 9-12, 2021, at its usual Wildwoods Outdoor Education Center.
Phase II of this lineup will be announced in the upcoming weeks as the Borda Productions team works to find replacements for artists who have had to cancel due to travel restrictions and other personal conflicts. Phase III will be announced later this summer, featuring the best up-and-coming producers in the Midwest as well as ReKinection Experience Artists and Workshops.
The team has spent the past year clearing out more of the forest area for an upgraded camping experience and will also be introducing, brand new for this year, Panky Rang Productions to curate the late-late night entertainment with their Renegade Bus.
You can still buy tickets online, but please be aware that car camping passes are sold out and RV passes and standard 3-day camping passes are also moving quickly!
