On December 12th, Canadian electronic music duo Control Room released their remix of Nick Hall’s “Fast Track.” Where the original recording was more subdued, utilizing production similar to Jack Harlow’s “First Class,” Control Room’s new remix takes Nick Hall’s lyrics to a completely different context. With Control Room’s “signature blend of pulsating rhythms and captivating melodies,” “Fast Track” becomes less about the pensive acceptance of an ambiguous universal ending and more about throwing caution to the wind and celebrating amidst the chaos.
Control Room has said: “After having the original version of the song forwarded to us from a friend we knew we had to remix this one! We wanted to make a vibey party song that got people singing along. We think we nailed it! It’s available as a free download so make sure to grab a copy for your crate, it’s perfect for New Years [sic] Eve parties!”
