Christian Leave’s ‘Superstar’ Is A Smiling Face Among The Crowd

Superstars, for better or worse, play a huge role in society. Despite all the fashion faux pas, weird tweets and shenanigans that come with being popular. They still entertain us daily through sports, arts, movies, television, music and social media. Not only that but they also inspire us to cultivate our talents as well as going the extra mile whenever given the opportunity to do so. Thus, we put them on a pedestal because we see them as idealized versions of ourselves.

These are the same elements found in Christian Leave’s new song entitled “Superstar”. Released last November 11thin all platforms, it’s an acoustic track highlighting the struggles of being in a relationship with a superstar. Whether it be a friend, sibling or a lover, it’s undeniable that there are challenges to face, especially if you’re the average person. Say for example as the lyrics express “I’ll never be the one. I’ll never be the thing they’re drawn to.” No matter what we do we’re “Always just a face” because the person next to us is a superstar.

Amidst the troubles listed in Christian Leave’s “Superstar”, it has a positive spin to it. As much as he is aware of the uphill climb needed to be with his superstar. He’s all the more willing to love as well as stick by them no matter what happens. In fact, according to him “But it’s fine. I really don’t mind. It saves me time.”. It may sound corny, but this is an image of true love because of its willingness to endure and not give up on a whim.

So, if you’re in search for something to boost your mood with amazing vocals and smooth instrumentals while giving you a quick lesson on L-O-V-E then give “Superstar” a listen. You won’t regret it!
