CERAMIC ANIMAL ANNOUNCE DEBUT ALBUM ‘SWEET UNKNOWN’
Weather getting colder by the days (freezing even), roads covered with snow and yet artists like Ceramic Animals keep their growing legend blazing. Whoa! Commendable yet at the same expected because creative souls like sibling trio Chris (vocals/guitar), Erik (drums) and Elliot (vocals, keys) together with friend duo Anthony (guitar) and Dallas (vocal, bass) thrive in every situation thrown at them one way or another. They’re a bunch of fireflies, meant to shine for all the world to see.
Case in point, the fivesome announced that their new album entitled “Sweet Unknown” will be out March 4th. This record was produced by Dan Auerbach (The Black Keys) and is set takes us in a journey about the beautiful side of darkness. It’s premise and the title itself is enough to warrant a movie.
Speaking of visual content, our ceramic friends have released their title track with an accompanying music video. This eye candy (sorry can’t help it) is now available to view on YouTube and is directed by Ford Fairchild.
To give you a snapshot of what to expect, “Sweet unknown” the MV is simple and yet incredibly gorgeous. No bells and whistles here, just equally mega talented fellows playing in and empty room. Not a painted one, no embellishments, in fact its rustic and the awesome part is it works perfectly. The music, their sound, appearance whether wardrobe or expression wise melds in seamlessly almost mind boggling. This belongs to pure music heaven for sure, so don’t you dare miss it.
With all these already served to us, they too added that from here on out they are now part of the Easy Eye Sound label which is owned by Auerbach. Their upcoming “Sweet unknown” album will be their fist in this partnership. This is great news, because finally the Doylestown avengers’ hard work paid off big time. Things are looking up for them and fans everywhere are all excited to see them soar higher than ever before.
To add to this, they too are going on tour which starts two days after Valentine’s Day. Here’s the list:
