Can’t Get Enough of Sir the Baptist’s New Single

Sir William James the Baptist is a second generation Chaplain of the modern believer’s culture. Sir is on a fast track to becoming one of the biggest voices to emerge from the Baptist/Christian culture. Using his voice to express his feelings about the recent current events taking place in the world, he’s created a track we’ve kept on replay.

His mixtape Saint or Sinner (2017) amassed more than 15 million streams worldwide and Sir performed on tours all across the globe, opening for Beyonce, Lauryn Hill, Alicia Keys, Mary J Blige, Nelly and hitting the stage at Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, Made in America and a countless number of other shows and festivals. This internationally known Artist and Spiritualist has been acknowledged by ForbesJay ZBillboardCNNLate Night with Seth MeyersBBC Radio 1NPRThe Grammys and many more for his trailblazing cause. After a recent prayer circle at Facebook for Mark Zuckerberg, CNN stated that Sir is leading a “believers renaissance” through a “balance between religion and life.”

Without a debut album, his works have charted #1 on Spotify’s Viral 50 (“Raise Hell”), #14 in the US for Hip Hop (Saint or Sinner), #13 on the Billboard Gospel Airplay charts (“Heaven”), #1 in the Bahamas, #5 album in Finland, received a BET nomination against his inspiration Jay Z and has been featured in a national Lexus TV commercial campaign (“Movin”), along with various TV shows and movies. Sir has also partnered with charitable organizations around the world to push forward this mission, including an honor by the Mayor of Chicago for his contribution to HIV/AIDS awareness in honor of his only full blood sibling HRH London Benton. His urban hymns shows his craftsmanship, but his insight proves his vision at a much needed time in the progression of religion.
