BYRNES RELEASES POSITIVE AND UPBEAT TRACK ABOUT FELING LEFT OUT IN A TIME OF OVERSHARING WITH “BETTER ON THE INTERNET”

Up-and-coming alt-pop star byrnes has released one of the most addictive and upbeat tracks on FOMO in recently memory, “Better On The Internet.” The track, which combines a mix of energetic drum beats and byrnes’ enthusiastic singing, shines through from the very first lyrics: “You sit there / Thinking that your lonely / Picking apart the stupid things that fill your head / Left out / Watching everybody / Having the best time of their life without you there.” Ultimately, “Better On The Internet” is a song about feeling left out and all the emotions that come with such loneliness, but realizing that there are always better things around the cornering reality as opposed to fantasy. As byrnes says about the infectious track:

“It’s a song about understanding that life portrayed on the internet is never as good as it is in real life so you should never let it get to you.”
