Rising house artist Bexxie has returned to us with her new single, “Lights Go Out”. The new song, out now via Liftoff Recordings features Bexxie’s own vocals over an addictive house beat that will make anyone want to dance. “Lights Go Out” follows Bexxie’s song of the summer, “Got Me”, released with Rodrigo Serna via Insomniac’s In/Rotation Label.

Bexxie has been producing since the late 1990s, yet is still considered to be a relatively “fresh face” in the house scene. Her first release wasn’t until 2019 with the funky house track “Say You Really”. She’s been releasing her mixes on her Soundcloud since 2018.
“Lights Go Out” is a very compelling track, pulling you in and infecting you with passion. The song belongs in a club, played for large crowds just wanting to dance. It’s a dance record through and through, bringing everyone who listens along for the ride.
“I wanted to make a dance record with high energy, melodic and euphoric elements that evoke the feelings of passion towards a certain someone. Where that passion can turn into an addiction, making you lose all of your senses, because you’re so wrapped up in the feelings and the high that person gives you.”
– Bexxie on “Lights Go Out”

The lyrics are what draw you into this track and the melody is what keeps you listening. She manages to create a song that truly feels like being with a certain someone; addictive, passionate, and fun. The lyrics only add to this, creating a track that hooks you in and makes you lose control.
“You’re like a drug I can’t come down from
I need you closer next to me
‘Cause I’m addicted to your passion
Won’t you set me free?”
– Lyrics to Bexxie’s “Lights Go Out”
