“BE THE ONE” TO STREAM KHALID AND BREE RUNWAY’S NEW MUSIC VIDEO

We may be in the middle of spring but we are transported into summer after watching Khalid and Bree Runway’s new music video.

Multi-platinum R&B singer Khalid and rising pop star Bree Runway released their collaborative single “Be The One” with an accompanying video on April 20th.

The vibrant summer video was filmed in Los Angeles by director Zachary Bailey, who has also worked with the likes of U2 and Offset. The video begins with a backshot of the desert and transitions into Bree singing about longing for her lover while she rides inside a car with colorful glass tiles. Khalid joins in after as he is surrounded by lush flowers and plants in the desert. Eventually, both singers join each other’s spaces as they confess their love for one another while we get shots of the desert during the nighttime as well as the mountains and sea. The music video and upbeat, guitar driven R&B track are the perfect mix for song of the summer.

While watching the video, there is also no denying that the chemistry between the singers is a match made in heaven. Both artists have spoken positively about their involvement with the track and of one another.

Recently, he has released his single “Softest Touch” and will be joining Ed Sheeran on tour in select North American cities this summer.

On the other hand, Bree Runway has been featured on Rolling Stone UK’s cover in the past year and named Artist on the Rise by YouTube. She was a supporting artist for Lizzo during her European tour and has collaborated with artists like Lady Gaga, Stormzy, and Missy Elliot. In a short amount of time, Bree has reached over 200 million streams.
