$avvy wrapped up 2020 with an infectious release, called Zoom. The Nashville-based rapper definitely made waves in one of the world’s most challenging years thus-far, which earned him a place on our Top 10: Ones to Watch for the Southern region.

On Zoom, any listener will immediately be drawn in by the entrancing beat. Mixing elements of escape room, lofi, and hip-hop elements, producer @cam.flp has made a beat fit for a big audience. $avvy’s entire branding is very unique and bold, which means one could expect witty humor and a playful mood, that still maintains a consistent flexing vibe. On this release, Lyrical Lemonade described it as:

$avvy’s flow here is the best it has ever been, and he switches it up with a number of different vocal inflections that guide the track from start to finish. The hook is infectious but feels effortless coming from $avvy. The beat here, produced by @cam.flp,  features multiple synthesizers that compliment each other along with some strong drums that drive the track forward.

John Matraia, Lyrical Lemonade

For any hip-hop heads eager to find “the next big thing” to their playlists, be sure to keep an eye on $avvy.
