This is an exciting occasion for Metalcore fans. The music legends Attack Attack! return to the scene in full force with the release of their highly anticipated album. Read on to know what this album has in store.

Album Attack Attack! II just dropped, and it’s everything fans could want and more. This piece marks their first full-length release since 2012. After years of headline-grabbing stunts, viral singles, and a reputation for upending expectations, the album is here and ready to charge fun, chaotic energy into playlists. They deliver more than an unpredictable blend of metalcore and electronica, as the band also ushers in a new era with the album’s unleash.

Attack Attack! II is packed with anthems that push boundaries at every turn. This is heard nowhere better than with their lead single, “Dance!” The single earned coverage from top outlets and sparked conversation among fans worldwide. With over 100 million streams across major platforms and a legacy as genre trailblazers, Attack Attack! continues to channel the chaos, wit, and unrestrained energy in their newest installment.

Onto the album itself, “ONE HIT WONDER” is an exhilarating start. It begins with a techno feel, priming the listener for these similar tones in the other tracks. Then the beat drops and the tone whiplashes into a hard and aggressive metal sound. The change is sudden but expertly done as the song builds up to it, like a slow climbing rollercoaster that finally tips over the edge. There is a tongue-in-cheek aggression to the track as the lyrics charge the song’s passion and energy with full force. Overall, it sets the fast-paced, fun, and unpredictable tone for the rest of the album.

As foretold, there is a reason that “Dance” is their lead single. It passionately follows up the last track and keeps the memento. Listeners already on their feet won’t want to find a seat anytime soon. Dipping more heavily into screamo style vocals, the deep resonating voice reaches into chests and yanks out vigor. There is no choice but to hit the dance floor and obey the song. Don’t be shy to throw up your hands and get into the rhythm.

“Chainless” is up next as their third track, and it’s a chaotic pit stirring masterpiece. The drums and electric guitar go hard right off the jump. As the drums hold the song steady, the guitar gives listeners a satisfying and fun riff. Then it suddenly fades back as darkly whispered lyrics take over, leaving just a thumping pulse to keep the rhythm. The song is an exciting experience and one worth putting on repeat.

“Live, Laugh, & Die” is the first that tilts heavier into the electronic side, all the while offering a peppier tone. It fits the message of “Live, Laugh, & Die”, providing a lighter feeling while telling listeners to live in the moment and enjoy the present. Of course, they only barely let up as the message comes wrapped in blaring vocals.

Up next is the thrill ride “i complain on r/metalcore”, which shows the band at some of their most cheeky. It is a stark difference from the beginning song, yet it fits snugly with the other tracks. Like “Live, Laugh, & Die”, this delves more into an electric sound, offering another round of sporadic changes that bring unexpected fun twists and turns.

“i complain on r/metalcore” encompasses the feeling of Attack Attack! breaking the rules and rebelling in favor of their creativity. While EDM takes over most of the verses, hard rock comes in after a drop at the chorus, acting as the glue that connects each verse transition. The lyrics smirk at the listener, “I am your appetite,” and “you can’t resist me” is repeated, saying that fans will listen no matter what because they’ve got them hooked. It is an extremely entertaining and upbeat song.

Jumping to the end, “Jump Jump” is the last song of the album and an epic finisher to the project. The song revs up the energy to ten to end off with a bang. Once again, it gives listeners a command to get on the dance floor, “Jump, Jump” to their song. Combine that with a beat that makes it impossible to sit still, and it creates the perfect recipe for listeners to leave the album satisfied, yet feverish for more.

There are a few more tracks that Attack Attack! II has to offer. However, we don’t want to spoil everything for fans and future fans alike. Rest assured, there will be no rest or sitting down while jamming to these raging, passion-filled tracks. If hearts aren’t pumping from the dancing, then they are from the thrilling beats, electronic tones, and amazing vocals. Give it a listen today and stay tuned to get the news on the hottest fresh albums!
