ARTIO RELEASES EMPOWERING TRACK CONFRONTING THE MENTAL HEALTH STIGMA
Artio just dropped an alternative rock single “Demigod,” which is the new empowering lead track off their newest EP “Pyrokid.” This new track confronts society and the inability to help those struggling through their past traumas. A very personable relatable song about coming to terms with your inner demons and learning how to cope as the days go on.
“Demigod is about not being 100% healed from past traumas and being comfortable with that. There’s always this crazy expectation that everyone needs to just get over things and because you’re past a hard time that it can’t affect you anymore. Demigod in its essence just means that it’s okay to be half-alive, barely getting by but still showing up.”

“Demigod” has that edge and certain parts actually sound exactly like voices in your head trying to crawl their way out. The instrumentals are powerful and capture the intensity of battling with yourself. “Demigod” has a soaring atmosphere of buildup led with a modulated voice carrying through to the very end. Powerful message and definitely something the mental health community feels on a daily basis. Speaking out and feeling your feelings are valid. Thank you Artio for helping fight the stigma!
