ARMNHMR have recruited famed artist and vocalist Lena Leon on “Lifeline,” which is the third single off their upcoming sophomore album “Together As One,” which itself releases next month. One of ARMNHMR’s most vulnerable tracks to date, “Lifeline” leans more into electro-pop while simultaneously incorporating a variety of sounds that channeling those which influenced their own production. With Leon’s vocals pleading for rescue that follow both ARMNHMR and Leon’s personal experiences, “Lifeline” seamlessly fits into the theme of “Together As One” as an emotionally raw and intelligent piece of art.

Both ARMNHMR and Lena Leon commented on “Lifeline,” with ARMNHMR describing the influence behind the sound design on the track and its creation, as well as the experience of working with Leon, saying,
“With “Lifeline,” we wanted to bring in the sounds that influenced us growing up. Overall, we believe that great art stays true to ourselves and the influences that make us, well, us. Working with Lena was a perfect fit. We got connected through the team at Monstercat. She’s an amazing songwriter and has a long list of heavy hitters under her belt. We’ve always been fans of her music over the years and are so stoked that we get this opportunity to finally work with her.”

Lena Leon herself spoke on the writing process behind “Lifeline” and her desire to work with ARMNHMR, saying,
“I co-wrote “Lifeline” with my good friend GG Ramirez who was there for me during a really hard period of my life. From 2016-2018, I was in a situation in a former artist project where I was emotionally abused, thought I had no control of my life and thought I couldn’t find a way out of it. She was literally the lifeline I needed at the time and I’m eternally grateful for her friendship and that she helped me write this song about my story! I’ve been a fan of ARMNHMR for a while now and it was such an honor to work with them!”
As ARMNHMR gears up to release “Together As One” next month, they are currently keeping themselves busy with their ongoing 20-stop tour, and have been locking in historical moments that include three sets at this year’s EDC Las Vegas, their upcoming performance at Tomorrowland, making their debut at Lollapalooza and returning to Lost Lands in September. The fan response to their tour and performances is undeniable, and as they set in to further their artistic ventures with “Together As One,” it may be their best release yet.
