Michigan-based musician Jonathan Visger started solo project Absofacto; and after signing with Atlantic, he released a single, “Dissolve,” that renewed interest recently after going viral on TikTok and meme culture.
Absofacto’s “Dissolve” then claimed the #1 Alternative Radio spot and reached the top spot on Billboard’s “Alternative Songs.” The certifiable viral phenomenon has racked up over one hundred and ninety million worldwide streams and more than 3 million fan-created uploads on TikTok. “Dissolve” has been one of the platform’s most popular tracks since its popular breakthrough last year, featured in countless viral videos, trends, and such universal memes as #mirrorfall.
A month ago, Absofacto released “Someone Else’s Dream,” and named one of Billboard’s “10 new pop songs to get you through the week.” The bedroom-pop single blends elements of indie rock while melding with the vibing vocals and smooth beats.
Today, Absofacto’s chill track received a psychedelic remix, “Someone Else’s Dream (slenderbodies Remix)” The feel-good vibes have only been enhanced as the track receives a fresh new sound that takes you on an entrancing trip from acclaimed electro-indie-pop duo slenderbodies.
