Love is one of the greatest teachers out there, once in awhile it also moonlights as a comedian. Placing us in peculiar situations that make even the boldest of people melt into a puddle, making us realize that finding the one isn’t that easy I.e awkward first dates etc. Rightfully so, because finding the one isn’t just about having a partner “for now”. It’s all about being together forever building hopes, and dreams together. Ahh the power of love!

Like a strong wind brought by intense emotions, emerging superstar and crowd darling Lo Lauren swoops into the scene with her song ‘Only One On Earth’. Released last August 31st in all major streaming platforms everywhere. Lo Lauren’s ‘Only One On Earth’ is a track about finding love, watching it slip away and impatiently waiting for it to come back. As the lyrics would say “Everywhere that I look, everyone that I see. Like a fairytale book holding hand and hand on the street. I can’t be the only one on earth. When it’s gonna, when it’s gonna be my turn?”. It’s an all too familiar roller coaster that we’ve been in or we’re currently in at the moment.

From the badass vocals that could make your heart skip a beat, to its instrumentals that get you grooving uncontrollably. Lo Lauren once again proves to us that she deserves all the admiration she’s been receiving lately. She’s the real deal and no one can deny that specially with hard hitting tunes such as ‘Only One On Earth’. Magical in every sense of the word, it could easily be a theme song of our lives. Whether we’re happily in love, broken or simply looking around, it unites us all in the fact that we all need love. Touching our very core, it shows us that being loved and loving in return is a part of being human. Much like food, water and shelter, it’s something that keeps us alive even if we end up being the ‘Only One On Earth’.
