The Man Who Drops Latest Party Track, “Lose My Mind”

According to the alternative rock band, The Man Who, nothing’s better than hanging out with friends and letting the night take you on a ride. As it had been a while since the band wrote a fun party song, their latest single, “Lose My Mind,” touches on the hangover brain fog that serves as the next day’s reminder of a great night.

A fun, groovy tune mixed with some 80s-sounding synth, “Lose My Mind” starts with a catchy musical hook paired with an infectious drum beat. Along with this snappy instrumental, the lead singer’s vocal performance further keeps the listener captivated with the track. 

“Lose My Mind” contains lots of catchy lyrical lines, such as, “I’m awake/ But I’m in a daze,” at the beginning of the song, along with, “I don’t wanna come down from this perfect night.” The chorus also has great lines with, “Gonna drink away all these problems/ Our troubles left behind/ I just wanna lose my mind/ For the night/ And forget about the time/ Our troubles left behind,” which perfectly describes wanting to have a fun night leading to not-so-fun consequences the following day.

The Toronto rock trio burst onto the Alternative Rock scene in late 2017 with their debut single, “Bet On You,” followed by “Natural Villain,” which earned a place on Top 5 Canadian Alternative Radio. In 2019 The Man Who released their debut EP, also titled Bet On You, then in 2022, they dropped their latest EP, Uncaged. The band’s music has also been featured on a variety of TV shows and sporting events.
