This week’s new releases move from high-voltage dancefloor chaos to softer, story-driven moments. Across bass house, techno, city pop, psychedelic rock, alt-rock, soul, and playful rap crossovers, these tracks capture summer in motion—loud, strange, heartfelt, and full of release.

#NMF Dance: Our Picks For The Week

NMF Dance brings new music from Fin Carroll, Ghastly, HI-LO, Saint Joshua, and more!

1. Fin Carroll – “Adrenaline Junkie”

Fin Carroll comeback to Hekate Records with “Adrenaline Junkie,” a hair-raising single built for pure high-energy. Opening with an impassioned chant, the single dives straight into hard-hitting kicks, reverse bass, psytrance tension, and a rumbling low-end punch. As a result, its catchy vocal hook and genre-blurring force turn the single into a bold, visceral rush, proving the 18-year-old Gen Z producer to bring a fresh new charge to the dancefloor.

2. GHASTLY – “Night Raid”

Ghastly opens his bold new era with this standalone release, “Night Raid.” Opening with a Latin chanting sample from Elfen Lied, the track quickly shifts into driving bass house, hype-charged rap vocals, and a festival-ready drop. Rather than feeling like two separate worlds, the chant becomes an instrument in Ghastly’s hands, just as his talented major bass house music, collides with the bassline and rap textures to create a new musical soul. Undoubtedly, “Night Raid” turns nostalgia, groove, and modern sound design into a peak-time stage weapon.

3. Will Sass, Lion Babe – “ZaZaZa”

LION BABE and Will Sass link up on “ZaZaZa,” a hook-heavy club cut made for summer movement. Pairing LION BABE’s soulful futurism with Sass’ polished dance-pop production, the track rides on punchy drums, rolling low end, and raw crossover energy. In particular, the repeated ‘ZaZaZa’ hook gives the song its addictive pull, turning simple repetition into a dancefloor chant people can move to, sing with, and instantly remember.

4. AHEE, WonkyWilla – “D4NCE”

AHEE and WonkyWilla team up on “D4NCE,” a bass-fueled anthem from AHEE’s forthcoming EP Bass Quest Vol. 2. Opening with an ominous voice tag, the track quickly drops into sinister atmospheres, playful vocal twists, and heavyweight low-end pressure. Notebly, “D4NCE” unravels into a hypnotic rush of wonky basslines, turning its dark energy into a wild, body-moving bass weapon.

5. HI-LO, Saint Joshua – “Do Not Disturb”

HI-LO and Saint Joshua lock into a hypnotic techno groove on “Do Not Disturb,” a commanding new release created for dark rooms and midnight moments. Centered on Saint Joshua’s repeated mantra, “when you see me move, do not disturb,” the track turns simple vocal repetition into an addictive club hook. Beneath it, HI-LO layers rolling percussion, driving low-end pressure, and subtle melodic tension, creating a restrained but powerful spell that pulls the whole dancefloor deeper into the moment.

#NewMusicFriday: Our Picks for the Week

New music from hanbee, Allison Russell, Yeat and more on New Music Friday.

1. POND – “Skyworks”

POND return with “Skyworks.” The focus track of their upcoming TERRRESTRIALS. Huge from its first hit, the song pairs urgent riff-rock, taut synths, and the band’s psychedelic edge with a darker reflection on Australia Day. Through images of fireworks, patriotism, and the river left glittering and filthy, “Skyworks” turns public celebration into something strange, political, and deeply unsettled.

2. hanbee – “call me yours “

hanbee shares “call me yours,” a chill highlight from her new album Daydream Radio. Leaning into her smooth, city-pop glow, the track follows two lovers quietly dreaming of the moment they can finally call each other their own. With its sweet melody, warm beachside imagery, and soft romantic pull, “call me yours” feels made for morning makeup, slow walks, and easy IG story moments.

3. Allison Russell – “Black Lavender”

Allison Russell releases “Black Lavender,” a soulful new track featuring Brittney Spencer, in celebration of Juneteenth, Black Music Month, and sisterhood. Arriving ahead of Russell’s third studio album In The Hour of Chaos, the song wraps Brittney Spencer’s earthy soul around a message of grace, comfort, and chosen family. Meanwhile, “Black Lavender” honors the way Black women continue to show up for each other, turning care into something precious, magical, and deeply necessary.

4. Rufio – “Dipshit”

Rufio revisits “Dipshit” with a newly re-recorded version, bringing fresh energy to the fan favorite 25 years after Perhaps, I Suppose…. Fast, bright, and full of motion, the track carries a strong alt-rock pulse that makes you want to run, move, and sweat it out. With its driving bass and hopeful spark, “Dipshit” feels built for morning workouts, summer games, and loud moments with a whole crowd.

5. Yeat – “MILLION DOLLAR MINION”

Yeat returns to the Minions universe with “Million Dollar Minion,” a riotous follow-up to the viral “Rich Minion.” Presented through Yeat’s hypnotic rap flow and the Minions’ playful, mischievous vocal textures, the single turns an unexpected crossover into something surprisingly seamless. Indeed, “Million Dollar Minion” bridges music, film, internet culture, fashion, and fandom, proving once again how fun this larger-than-life collaboration can be.
