DJ vet Bexxie has dropped her newest single “Dansez” via Sweat it Out. After growing up producing, Bexxie emerged in New York’s rave scene, bringing music with her own special flavor back in 2019. Bexxie has kept house fans on their toes this year with numerous collaborations. Including “Take Control” with Towera Smith and “Nowhere to Hide” with BIJOU.
Her newest single, “Dansez,” is a modern take on house music. The beast of a song combines house rhythms with jungle percussion. The hook “dansez maintenant,” which translates from French to “dance now,” enchants listeners. While the delivery of the lyric is instructive, the instrumental is anything but. The song throws the listener into the track head-first with an addictive drum beat, only slowing down to tell listeners to dance, then immediately throwing us back into the beat. Each chorus keeps listeners on their toes, whether it’s the addition of a synth or the delay of a drop.
