The 27-year-old from Doncaster, UK, has had impressive success: with his last two albums going number 1 in the UK, accumulating 6 billion global streams. At his core, YUNGBLUD has always been an artist who takes risks. A nine-minute rock ballad might not be the most popular choice for an artist’s album’s debut single, but as YUNGBLUD says, “…risk is an artist’s greatest tool- without risk, there is no innovation.”
The song’s conception began 4 years ago, during YUNGBLUD’s 2020 Weird! Tour. He was alone in a hotel room, questioning what would come next in his career and how to evolve creatively.

The release follows the announcement of BLUDFEST Year 2, which is returning to the Milton Keynes National Bowl in June of 2025. Curated and headlined by YUNGBLUD, the festival is back and sure to be louder, bolder, and push more boundaries than ever.
