A spectacular wild spring collection from legendary fashionistas Kate and Laura Mulleavy, founders of Rodarte have teamed up with Tom Perry’s daughters, Annakim Violette and Adria Petty. The special Spring 2022 collection consists of limited edition casual wear, t-shirts, hoodies, and sweatpants that celebrate Tom Perry’s masterful album Wildflowers. In the early ’90s, sisters Mulleavy recall a time when their father took them to see Tom’s Wildflower Tour, and never in their wildest dream did they expect in 30 years to collaborate Tom Petty’s estate, Wildflower Capsule Collection.
In the new documentary Tom Petty, Somewhere You Feel Free: The Making of Wildflowers, sisters Annakim Violette and Adria Petty asked sisters Mulleavy to launch a magical collection. Instead of launching a Fashion runway, sisters Mulleavy asked their mother Victoria Mulleavy to design illustrations of poppies. The Wildflowers Collection has a dash of ’60s influence, bright colors, and attribute to Tom’s musical influence. The Mulleavy and Petty sisters were thrilled to include a new generation of musicians and asked their friend Daria Kobayashi Ritch to photograph musicians Joanna Newsom, Japanese Breakfast, Arrow de Wilde, Tweaks, King Princess, Kilo Kish, and Gabbriette wearing Tom Petty’s Time Capsule clothing collection in the Cali hills.

The limited-edition Rodarte x Tom Petty collection is now available on http://www.matchesfashion.com, TomPetty.com, and ShopRodarte.com. Tom Petty’s non-profit Foundation D’Addario Foundation Girls in Music Initiative will be donating 25% of the proceeds from the Tom Petty store. The D’Addario Foundation invests in hundreds of grassroots non-profit programs providing free or low-cost, immersive music education and youth development. 100% of every dollar donated goes directly to supporting independent music organizations on the frontlines using music as a vehicle for positive social change.
