The Same Same But Different Festival just dropped its Phase 2 lineup and we’re in for a treat.

Originally brought to life by a few friends in 2018, SSBD celebrates its 7th anniversary this year between September 26-28 and its exponential growth over the years only continues with its latest iteration. This special event prides itself on being an independent festival with no institutional backing. The experience, which has a capped attendance of 7,500 is a truly community-driven festival at heart that puts the music over everything else. The idyllic landscape surrounding the beach of Lake Perris creates a haven for creativity, connection, and unexpected wonder and this year is going to be one for the history books.

The Phase 2 lineup came along with a Sunrise Set from the celebrated CloZee, who is known for her awesome blends of global bass, psychedelic textures, and stirring visuals. In addition, we can look forward to an army of 60+ artists such as Coco & Breezy, who are celebrated for their smooth merge of house and R&B, LukeAndy, a revered house producer, or tesh, a genre-defying bitbird artist with a mastery of storytelling and melodic sound design.

Furthermore, SSBD is also thrilled to announce a brand new collaboration with SoCal’s adored Good Society who is in charge of hosting the official SSBD pre-party on Thursday, September 25. Good Society is celebrated for pushing local talent as well as building some of the best bass-centric events across LA. The highly anticipated pre-festival experience promises to be an unforgettable one, bringing us artists like A Hundred Drums, sumthin sumthin, PHRVA and many more.

This collaboration between SSBD and Good Society is a prime example for their crowing prioritization of global partnerships, preceded by collaborations with Desert Hearts, Northern Nights, and Joshua Tree Music Festival (spotlighted by Billboard), as well as Wonderfront Festival.

With the Same Same But Different Festival just around the corner, the festival season of 2025 is about to have yet another uproar. Are you ready for one of the most exciting festival experiences of the year? Be sure to grab your tickets as long as they’re available.
