Oliver Tree has revealed a brand new track, “One and Only,” accompanied by a colorful music video. The release precedes his third studio album, Alone in a Crowd, out September 29th on Atlantic Records. He has acquired a cult-following of listeners who admire his “meta-humor” while continuing to delve into the absurdity of modern culture, where people obsess over fame and fortune. His new album will shed both light and darkness on human nature and pop culture.

“One and Only” is immediately jazzy, with quick, distinct vocals. The melody is catchy and romantic. It finds its groove easily, electrifying to witness alongside the music video. The visual immediately begins with Oliver Tree falling into a dumpster, then rising in an eclectic, creative outfit in front of witty cinematography. Piano and synth complement his voice to produce a unique, fiery sound. Brassy and bassy, Oliver Tree’s composition is volcanic in its bounce. The video is comedic and cool, full of personality. If you’re into music videos with plot twists, drama, contortion, and multiple parts, then Oliver Tree’s wicked imagination is perfect for you.

Tree directed the video himself, shot in Belgrade, Serbia. It is a continuation of his music video for “Bounce,” drawing attention to his exciting new chapter. The internationally acclaimed, chart-topping artist has made himself known as an undeniable force. With the new track, Oliver Tree has made the most exciting announcement of all. He broke the news following a sold-out show at Denver’s iconic Red Rocks Amphitheater last month, revealing that he will be performing his biggest international run to date, Oliver Tree Presents: Alone in a Crowd. The live-nation produced tour will stop in Australia, France, Italy, Belgium, and more. Information can be found here.
