The Swedish electronic metal group SOLENCE brings us their flaming hot new track “Dead_Alive.”

Sweden’s own SOLENCE have long made waves in the world of electronic metal music. With over 365 million streams across all platforms, 888k monthly listeners on Spotify and more than 96 million video views, SOLENCE have been dubbed as one of Pandora’s “Rising Rock Artists To Watch In 2023.”

Prior to the release of their debut album BROTHERS, they entered the world of music, bringing us heavy renditions of famous pop hits from the likes of Imagine Dragons, Fall Out Boy, Ed Sheeran, Britney Spears, and Queen. Their sophomore album DIRECTION was the first to land them an Active Rock Radio charting with “Animal In Me.” Their third album DEAFENING, released in 2021, showed their songwriting evolution, drawing inspiration from music to anime, gaming, sci-fi, and even philosophy. Amidst the release of their fourth album HOPE IS A CULT in 2023 and band members Videsäter and Strääf writing new material for SOLENCE, they also collaborated with giants such as Jason Derulo and Bebe Rexha.

With their limitless optimism, combined with their sheer skill, SOLENCE continue to spread their life-affirming message throughout 2025, bringing us new music in the leadup to their fifth studio album ANGELS CALLING, set for release on October 3.

‘Until I hear the ‘Angels Calling’ reminds us that life is way too short to worry about doubt or making mistakes. We never know when our time is up, so let’s make the most of it while we can!

~ Markus Videsäter

SOLENCE’s latest single “Dead_Alive” dives deep into the themes of societal chaos while encouraging hope and urging us to “stop the bleeding.” Using a plethora of sonic elements such as heavy drums, powerful guitar solos and a subtle, yet highly effective bassline to accompany the highly thoughtful lyrics, SOLENCE takes us on a one of a kind journey through their soundscapes. About the song, frontman Markus Videsäter explains,

‘Dead_Alive’ is probably one of the heaviest songs on ANGELS CALLING. We really wanted to go full on with this one. The song itself is about a world on fire where instead of acting on it we all walk around like we’re ‘Dead  Alive.’ Think this is one of the most powerful choruses we’ve written to date, really excited for people to hear this!

~ Markus Videsäter

Previously touring with legends such as Five Finger Death Punch, Ice Nine Kills, Electric Callboy, We Came As Romans, and The HU, as well as making festival appearances across Europe, SOLANCE are about to kick of their next Europe tour with Nothing More on November 7. Make sure to grab your tickets while they’re available!
