Siobhán Winifred Shares Latest Single, “This House”
An emerging alt-pop artist, Siobhán Winifred, embraces her Irish upbringings in her latest work of art: “This House,” out now on all major listening platforms!
With a strong Irish heritage, Siobhán is an emerging alt-pop artist who grew up in the Dorset countryside but now lives in London. Inspired by the music of Rufus Wainwright, Leonard Cohen, Phoebe Bridgers and Alex Turner, Siobhan’s vulnerable lyrics, combined with Brit-indie rock guitars and electronic beats aim for the sweet spot where you could cry and dance to it, all at the same time.
Releasing her debut single, “Black Hole” in June this year, she saw early support from Spotify with the track added to New Music Friday, Our Generation, Fresh Finds, Fresh Finds Indie, Fresh Find’s UK & Ireland. The song has also attracted early support from BBC Introducing, 6 Music and Radio 1. Now, we follow up with her almost six months later and around 100k views later with follow-up single, “This House.”
Setting the atmosphere with acoustics and a brooding vocal tone, the track continues to build in emotion as it hones in on the vulnerable poetic tones of the lyrics, especially throughout its chorus.
This house ain’t big enough for the both of us
in rooms we talked with a hundred eyes on us
this drink’s not strong enough
to watch you fall in love
this house ain’t big enough for the both of us…
