After bringing us their surprise release “Instrument of War” feat. Stick To Your Gun, Paleface Swiss not only announced their upcoming The Wilted EP, but also dropped their latest smash hit “Let Me Sleep.” Together with its epic music video, the track will join the aforementioned “Instrument of War” alongside three other tracks on the EP. Switzerland’s heaviest export is known and beloved for their one of a kind live performances, as well as not holding back when it comes to vulnerable topics. With their authentic and unfiltered approach, Paleface Swiss are one of the most vital, up and coming forces in metal today.
Starting off 2026 strong with the release of The Wilted EP, as well as their biggest tour throughout Europe, the UK and the US. Starting out in the underground with their debut Chapter 3: The Last Selection in 2020, Paleface Swiss are now a global metal phenomenon.
“Let Me Sleep” is a piercing scream, echoing from the brink of exhaustion. The song deeply probes frontman Marc “Zelli” Zellweger’s battles against insomnia, as well as the mental strain that comes with the more stressful aspects of touring. It takes the band into a new era, continuing the legacy of their highest charting album Cursed. In addition, it thoroughly explores the psychological and emotional aspects that followed.
Zelli adds,
Do you know the feeling when you want to sleep but your head doesn’t allow it? Maybe because you fear your dreams? Or do my dreams fear me? Sleep is so important to me, but sometimes my mind just won’t let me.
Sonically, the song is right at home with the classic Paleface Swiss music we know and love. Crashing breakdowns, impressive range and authentic vulnerability make for an unforgettable experience.
Alongside “Let Me Sleep,” Paleface Swiss released a dark and ominous, yet at once mesmerizing and energizing music video. Inspired by Slender Man and Hellraiser, it walks a thin line between dream state and waking dread, expanding the band’s universe in groundbreaking ways on a visual level.

The Wilted EP has its origins in themes of burnout, emotional collapse and the constant pressure that comes with months of touring the world and releasing a life-changingly successful album. In its narrative, The Wilted EP tells of the aftermath of the breaking point that Cursed represents. It tries to rise above the hollow quiet and the spiraling mind, finding ways to keep going.
Once more, the EP draws parallels to the symbolism of flowers. The once colorful and vibrant flowers on the Cursed cover, are now wilted and dried up.

With The Wilted EP ushering in a new era for Paleface Swiss, grand things are on the horizon for the band and their dedicated fanbase. Are you ready to be part of their world between relentless brutality and raw vulnerability? Grab your tickets for Paleface Swiss’ upcoming tour throughout the US, UK and Europe.
