Get lost in the rhythms of the night with New Music Friday Dance.

1. AK RENNY, Control Room, RUMPUS: “Pay Up”

Full of attitude, Florida native AK RENNY collaborates with Control Room and RUMPUS for “Pay Up.” A quality bassline can make or break a tech-house track, and this one packs a punch. A vocal sample chants, “This is your time to wake up / I look so good no makeup,” backed by a chest-rumbling mixture of enveloping, thick synths. This track combines high-octane club energy with stellar percussion.

2. Bexxie, Yurie, Avi Sic: “Sacrifice (You & I) – Avi Sic Remix

Chicago resident Avi Sic recently remixed Bexxie and Yurie‘s energetic tech-house track, “Sacrifice (You & I).” The vocals dramatically depict a push-and-pull relationship dynamic, singing, “Was this just a dream to get me closer? / Then leave me on my knees” while a stuttering bassline keeps pace. A distorted alarm-like sound expands the soundscape with its crisp echoes.

3. SHIMA: “1807”

Tokyo-based bedroom producer SHIMA is back with her latest single, “1807.” This track beautifully blends cultural influences from all corners of the world, with a Chinese harp (Guzheng), an African-influenced percussion line, and hints of tropical house. The instrumental radiates a sun-like warmth with inclusions of lush, gentle synths that float in the background.

4. Ghost In Real Life: “My Anthem”

Independent producer Ghost In Real Life introduces a playful recreation of the national anthem with “My Anthem.” With elements of 2000s pop-punk, this jungle track carries a youthful essence. A prolonged drop around the 2-minute mark delivers scratchy, thick sounds that deepen the otherwise light production. The lyrics are unapologetic, declaring freedom and resistance.

5. Josh Dorey: “Me n U”

“Nice frequency” maker Josh Dorey is back with his hypnotic new track, “Me n U.” Nothing energizes a crowd like an uptempo trance house mix guided by a thumping bass and lusciously harmonized chopped synths. The pitched-up vocal sample adds surrealness to the track, creating melodies that could play for an eternity without anyone noticing.
