NMF Dance: Our Picks For The Week

Check out these new dance drops from EAZYBAKED, Seven Lions, Montell2099, and more!

1. EAZYBAKED, Snuffy – “BRAKES”

EAZYBAKED close out their biggest year yet with The Antennae: a collage-like LP that captures the duo’s most personal and creatively free era to date. Leading the project is the UKG-inspired “BRAKES” with Snuffy, a standout cut that threads their signature experimental bass through a nostalgic, late-night groove. The project brings together collaborators like Digital Ethos, Daggz, Ooga, RANZ, and TieDye Ky, weaving sentimental downtempo moments with heavy, dancefloor-ready energy.

2. Seven Lions, HALIENE – “Cold as Snow”

Seven Lions returns to his roots with Asleep in the Garden of Infernal Stars, a handcrafted, fantasy-driven album that channels the immersive storytelling of his early sound. A standout moment arrives on “Cold as Snow” with HALIENE, a metal-tinged, emotionally devastating centerpiece. The album also features collaborations with Kerli and Lilly Ahlberg, expanding into drum & bass, trance, and cinematic electronica while maintaining Seven Lions’ unmistakable melodic identity.

3. Montell2099 – “ENDLESSLY”

Montell2099 makes a long-awaited return with DUALITY, his debut album marking a bold creative rebirth after more than a year away. A standout highlight is “ENDLESSLY,” a track where nostalgic vocals collide with Montell’s signature, high-impact sound design. Across nine tracks, DUALITY moves fluidly between trap, drum and bass, house, hyperpop, classic dubstep, and a hybrid of all… reflecting both his Māori upbringing in Katikati and the boundary-pushing production that’s taken him to global stages.

4. Hydraulix, Chef Boyarbeatz – “RUDEBOi”

Hydraulix and Chef Boyarbeatz join forces for “RUDEBOi.” Built on snarling low-end grooves, this track lands perfectly in the middle of the duo’s shared love for UK-driven sound design. Both artists bring their signature sound and 140-rooted instincts to the collaboration, crafting a deep dubstep hybrid that’s already become a weapon in both artists’ electrifying sets.

5. Marsias, Berkael, WOOSA – “Can’t Sleep”

“Can’t Sleep” unites the forward-thinking producers Marsias, Berkael & WOOSA in a hypnotic blend of atmospheric electronic textures and woozy bass motion. The collab results in a late‑night sonic world that lingers long after the last beat drops. The track weaves immersive synth lines with unpredictable rhythmic shifts, showcasing the trio’s collective knack for melding moody ambiance with dance‑forward energy.

The album arrives as Lilas prepares her Laugh live tour in Japan and South Korea, cementing her status as one of J-pop’s most dynamic solo voices.

4. Ally Evenson – “AFO”

LA-based singer-songwriter Ally Evenson returns with “AFO.” A bold, 90’s alternative-inspired track from her upcoming album SPEED KILLS (out Feb 20, 2026), the track is laced with provocative metaphors and unapologetic queerness.
