From Ethel Cain to King Princess, check out these fresh indie hits from New Music Friday!

1. Ethel Cain – “Nettles”

Ethel Cain returns with “Nettles,” the hauntingly tender first glimpse of her highly anticipated upcoming sophomore album, Willoughby Tucker, I’ll Always Love You (out August 8). Written in the same Alabama house where Cain’s magnum opus, Preacher’s Daughter took shape, the track unspools a dreamlike plea to hold onto love in the face of inevitable loss. “Nettles” sets the stage for a sweeping prequel that promises to deepen the mythology of Cain’s ever-expanding universe.

2. Kami Kehoe – “Dopamine”

Alt-rock rising star Kami Kehoe kicks off a new era with “Dopamine,” the explosive lead single from her upcoming EP Kandy (out July 18).
