Artists from various corners of music are preparing all sorts of special events for fans. From Death Cab for Cuties celebrating an anniversary with fans, to Weezer headlining at Bumbershoot festival, there’s plenty of exciting things planning to unfold. 1. Death Cab for Cutie – Plans 20th Anniversary Shows

Fans should get ready to hop in as Death Cab for Cutie plans to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their fifth studio album, Plans. They will bring their celebration to Chicago, Seattle, and NYC! Fittingly, they’ll be playing the hit 2005 record in its entirety. Not to mention, this awesome event comes at the heels of their mega, global sold-out tour and the release of their universally acclaimed 10th studio album, Asphalt Meadows. 2. Glastonbury Festival 2025

The Glastonbury Festival is coming back around this year, and fans are more than enthusiastic. With over 80 stages and more than 200 acts, this five-day event is no small matter. Furthermore, this England based festival takes place in Somerset at venue Worthy Farm in Pilton, an expansive setting worthy of hosting Glastonbury guests and performers. As for the headliners, they’ve got global phenomenons Neil Young, The 1975, and Olivia Rodrigo just to name a few. The tickets sold out back at the November launch in just 35 minutes, so we weren’t joking when we said fans were very excited. 3. Capitol Hill Block Party 2025

Get ready to spin the block around to the 2025 Capitol Hill Block Party. They just announced their full line up of performers and they’re nothing to sneeze at. From stars like GRAMMY-winner Thundercat, to complextro-phenomenon Porter Robinson, and global icon Yaeji, the list is already stacked with many more to come. Not only that, but also for the first time the festival will be 21+. This is an effort to optimize the festival layout, providing a better customer, fan, and neighborhood experience. 4. Louder Than Life 2025

Up next is Louder Than Life 2025 and they just released a lineup worth shouting about. They plan to disturb the peace with over 160 bands performing across 6 stages starting on September 18 through to September 21. This Louisville festival will have headliners like metal legends Slayer and Rob Zombie, to memorable and beloved bands like Evanescence and Deftones. Louder Than Life has always been about showcasing the future of rock and heavy music while honoring the legends who paved the way, offering the loudest and most fun metal festival of the year. 5. Bumbershoot Arts & Music Festival

Bumbershoot Arts & Music Festival will be bumping into Seattle once again for its 52nd year! They just announced their lineup, and from the artists attending, they’ll make August 30 to 31 no less than stellar. Bumbershoot will have artists like nationwide sensations Weezer, Aurora, and Janelle Monáe. Coupled with them, the weekend will also feature must-see sets from rising icons like Indigo De Souza, punk prodigies The Linda Lindas, and the Seattle punk heroes The Murder City Devils.
