Just before the release of Love and Death’s first album in eight years, Perfectly Preserved, Brian “Head” Welch (Korn) and the fellow members of his anthemic hard rock project released their third single.
“The Hunter” provides a classically heavy addition to your Friday while providing a fresh twist to the kind of melodic rock we grew up loving. Featuring Keith Wallen from Breaking Benjamin, the track shares their thoughts on the current state of our society. While weaponizing their sound, Love and Death have conquered topics of shattering darkness from within and shed light with their relatable lyrics. Their album shows promise in tackling the battle and process in finding self worth and offers an escape to anyone who’s felt discarded or without value.
Perfectly Preserved will be released on February 12th and will be celebrating its launch with a global livestream event. Love and Death recently revealed the full list of special guests joining them as they take to the stage. Joining the band that night will be Lacey Sturm of Flyleaf, Keith Wallen of Breaking Benjamin, and Matty Mullins of Memphis May Fire.
Welch shares his excitement about the upcoming event: “Regarding the album release concert February 12th, I’m actually quite shocked that we are going to pull off such an amazing event with some special very guests who live in different states–all during a world-wide pandemic!”
Tickets for the streaming event are available for purchase here.
