Kenzie Cait dropped her new single “the worst part” in hopes to show her listeners that they are all deserving of a healthy love. Any relationship that makes you hate yourself is not a relationship for you. Releasing the new track was scary for Kenzie as she felt it was too raw at first, too much of herself spilled into the lyrics. “The worst part” for Kenzie was like opening the wound again and sitting with a feeling she is very much still present in.

The song is so beautiful and well written with lyrics that hit you right in the core. Kenzie describes in the song that this person made her hate everything she loved like her tattoo, bands she would listen to all the time. This person tampered with her heart so much it faltered the way she looked at the world. “The worst part” shows off Kenzie’s vocals and you can really feel the emotion behind every word. The track is so soft perfectly backing up Kenzie’s voice letting her shine but still keeps you so drawn to every aspect of the song. It is raw, personable and wonderful to the ears. I fully fell in love with this track and you will too!
