Maryland’s own, Savage Hands are back with a vengeance. They’re continuing to sharpen a sound that thrives on intensity, honesty, and the sheer power of letting it all out.

This alt-metal band is currently on the road with Attack Attack! after releasing a series of heavy-hitting singles this year, the latest being “Trust Issues.” The song surges between glitchy distortion and soaring melody, embodying a vulnerability anyone can scream out loud rather than keep bottled inside.

We joined up with the band a few moments before their performance at Goldfield Roseville. Not only did they mention that they were back here only three months ago, they’ve been on the road touring the US throughout the year.

One of the best parts of chatting with them was hearing their excitement about being on the road. While every tour has its moments and the life is not for everyone, you could tell that it fueled them as people. Not to mention, sometimes you get a moment in between being on the road and on the stage. There’s a new food spot you try out that slaps. There are memories that will live within your core forever. And for Savage Hands, this tour was a few hours spent at Lake Shasta just a couple days before.

The weather was perfect and we spent a few hours swimming there. It was just what we needed.

We have our eyes on these rising metal titans. Stay tuned for updates!
