Welcome to Monday! Here are our latest picks for you featuring Carmela, Dora Jar and Briston Maroney!

1. “Monday” – Briston Maroney

Are you holding back on chasing your dreams? First up on today’s spectacular new list is Briston Maroney‘s “Monday,” an indie rock track that will have listeners singing along while pondering their current state of life. Maroney’s blazing vocal range sings lyrics such as, “Maybe we’ll make the headlines / I can’t spend another second wasted / I’ll be back before the sunrise.” Looking ahead, Maroney is set to host his third annual Briston Maroney Presents: Paradise Festival, which will take place Nov. 14-16 in Nashville, TN. Find tickets here.

2. “Santa Fe” – Carmela

It’s hard to not envision sunny skies and warm smiles after listening to Carmela‘s newest indie rock single, “Santa Fe.” The track intertwines lively instrumentals and spirited vocals with deeper lyricism that follows the thoughts of someone who longs to go back to happier times. “Santa Fe,” is, in this case, a metaphor for a period of time where that person felt their relationship was perfect. The catchy chorus and group “la la la’s” embody the spirit of optimism, bringing listeners a ray of hope that things will ultimately be okay.

3. “Awkward Bones” – Foreign Air

Next, we have Foreign Air and their newest alternative indie single, “Awkward Bones.” The track opens with bright, ascending strings that merge into 80’s-inspired electronic beats. The layered instrumentals and lyrics weave a tapestry of hidden thoughts about what is it like to have “awkward bones.”

“With the song we wanted to capture the essence of being a wallflower—someone quietly observing life from the sidelines, yet yearning for deeper interaction,” Foreign Air explains. “Lyrically it delves into the tension between wanting to connect and feeling held back by one’s own insecurities. Wrapped in a hazy atmosphere of ‘cigarette perfume’ and the weight of unspoken words, this track is a tender ode to those awkward moments that define us and the beauty that can bloom from them.”

4. “No Way To Relax When You Are On Fire” – Dora Jar

“No Way To Relax When You Are On Fire” by Dora Jar is a stunning reflection of her passionate, airy vocals and captivating songwriting. The track is one of the 13 found on her eponymous album, No Way To Relax When You Are On Fire, which showcases the 24-year-old’s lyrical talent and musical versatility. From folk to rock to pop, Jar brings a newfound sense of clarity to her newest project, allowing fans across the world to catch a glimpse of the identities she finds within music. Jar is currently traveling North America on her “Behind The Curtain” headline tour. Tickets can be found here.

5. “Because They Want Our Seat” – Sara Landry, Nico Moreno

Sara Landry and Nico Moreno dominate the electronic stage once again with the release of their new collaborative single, “Because They Want Our Seat.” Undeniably ruthless, the track reflects high-energy beats that climb upward towards 160 BPM. The techno geniuses engulf listeners into their world of technical mastery with teasing vocals setting the stage for the driving basslines and sporadic synths that define this project.

Landry and Moreno are no stranger to working together. Their “Queen Of The Banshees” track garnered over 9 million Spotify streams since its release in 2021. “When we were bringing this one up we went back and listened to other tracks we’ve done together and it was incredible reflecting on how much both of us have changed and evolved,” says Landry. “Working with Nico really inspires me because we both love this genre – and pushing its limits – so deeply.”
